The Dominator, sometimes known as a Dom, is a strong tank used exclusively in 2TDM Domination. It was also found in the now defunct Portal Domination. It comes in 8 types and can be converted to teams to win matches.
Universal
Design
The Dominator is a large circular tank with a number of barrels, which may vary. It is either yellow, blue, or red. The Dominator also has a hexagonal non-rotating shell, resembling a Smasher.
Technical
Dominators have about 10,000 health, taking little damage from even Redistributor Stabilizer bullets. Dominators also have high regeneration and shield, although full shield regeneration is very slow.
Dominators do not move, and act as obstacles, damaging Dirigible-branch tanks.
Converting
Teams may attack and try to convert dominators to their team. If a dominator owned by one team is killed by the other, it turns yellow, requiring two kills to fully convert a dominator.
A player can take control of a Dominator by pressing H. Their tank will then die after a second. The death message reads "You have died a stupid death" when your tank is fully dead.
Countering
The easiest way to kill any dominator is taking fog and standing near it also press c+e if the dominator is not controlled. However fighting a player-controlled dominator requires at least 3+ it depends on how skilled the controller is.
Destroyer
Design
The Destroyer Dominator has a single wide short barrel, similar to the Bruiser's barrel. The bullets are the size of Annihilator bullets.
Technical
The Destroyer Dominator shoots very powerful bullets slowly. The bullets are rather fast for their size, and are fatal should one get hit. The bullets can oneshot most bosses, and is much more durable than even the Redistributor's bullet.
Strategy
As the Destroyer Dominator
The Destroyer bullets require good aim and a little luck. As the Dominator has a low rate of fire but very strong bullets, it is good to attack groups of players or even AI if they approach.
Against the Destroyer Dominator
The bullets are relatively easy to dodge and slow. Using tanks such as Decalibrator, Tera Trapper, or Deluge can deal large amounts of damage, and any swamping tank (Tetrator, for instance) can deal with almost constant damage and speed up the process. Tanks like Doomer deal massive damage, and may only require a dozen of hits. If you are skilled, you can use tanks like Mini Gunner or even Splitter to convert these Dominators. The Mini Gunner works very well, just avoid the bullet and aim where the bullet's not going to come out. After around 30-60 seconds you will have converted Dominator.
Using Apidae will very effectively convert the dominator, too. just stay out of range of the bullets, aim slightly to the side so that the bullets do not get penetrated by the dominator. the swarm drones will attack it, and in less than a minute you have a dominator on your side.
Steamroller
Design
The Steamroller Dominator has a short, wide barrel with a much more narrower section beneath it, similar to the Steamroller's barrel. The bullets are the size of Annihilator bullets.
Technical
The Steamroller Dominator shoots very powerful bullets slowly. The barrel shoots the bullets out of the wide section, making the narrow connecting piece decorative. The bullets are very fast for their size, and are damaging, if not fatal should one get hit. The bullets can one shot most bosses, and is much more durable than even the Redistributor's bullet.
Strategy
As the Steamroller Dominator
The Steamroller bullets require good aim and a little luck. As the Dominator has a low rate of fire but very strong bullets, it is good to attack groups of players or even AI if they approach. In the event a tank gets in between your long barrel, immediately resign control if the Dominator is near your base, grab a bullet spammer or a swarming tank, and save your Dominator like that.
Against the Steamroller Dominator
The process is similar to the Destroyer Dominator, but keep in mind the added speed and decreased reload. Also, you can get right in between the Dominator's long barrel, and use a Knight, Mace, or Courser (because of it's high reload and damage, but no recoil) to slowly kill it. However, make sure your tank fully clears the short wide segment of the barrel, unless you want absolute death bullets spawned on top of you.
Gunner
Design
The Gunner Dominator has 3 turrets arranged like the Triploid, with a slightly larger trapezoidal base, and straighter barrels. It fires bullets the size of the Gunner's bullets.
Technical
The Gunner Dominator fires bullets rapidly, with each bullet dealing a slight amount of damage. The Gunner Dominator's bullets are weak invididually, but can overwhelm a player if they are not careful. The bullets are very speedy.
Strategy
As the Gunner Dominator
When using the Gunner Dominator, you will have to predict the enemy tank's movement, as they can easily dodge the bullets. You will fare well against slow tanks that are alone. However, one should be careful of high DPS tanks like the Twin Searcher or the Twisted Hybrid, as you have no chance of penetrating the bullets. If so, immediately resign control, and defend the dominator using a high DPS tank like the Machlet.
Against the Gunner Dominator
The Mini Gunner again can work but now the Mini Gunner can be effectively be replaced by Ceptionist branch, you need to penetrate enemy bullets effectively. This one takes much longer than Destroyer or Steamroller. Be patient, and if you see someone trying to sneak up on you, turn the Dominator on them (if it is yellow) or flee. (if the dominator is on the enemy's team)
If you are very lucky, you can get underneath the Gunner Dominator's barrels without getting hit. This way, you can use tanks like the Flail or any high DPS tanks without any recoil.
Trapper
Design
The Trapper Dominator has 8 large trap launchers, resembling an Octo Trapper.
Technical
The Trapper Dominator's trap launchers fire moderately, launching lethal and durable traps. The Trapper Dominator always is spinning and firing.
Strategy
As the Trapper Dominator
It is highly suggested to never play the Trapper Dominator. The dominator on its own is already spinning and shooting all of the time.
Against the Trapper Dominator
If you find a Trapper Dominator, use a high DPS tank such as the Courser or Doomer to penetrate the traps. Tanks such as the Twisted Hybrid can help block any attacks from other players defending the dominator. Because of the traps, it is highly recommended to not use drones or minions.

Crockett
Design
The Crockett Dominator has a trapezoidal barrel with a moderately long barrel, essentially a large Crockett launcher barrel. The nuke is rather large, and the explosion can get as big as a Oppenheimer nuke explosion. The shards are about as big as a very large Long Boy.
Technical
The Crockett Dominator fires very powerful nukes that are very durable rather slowly. The explosion spawns 8 shards, which deals little damage but high knockback. The explosion itself is almost fatal if you touch it.

Design
The Swarmer Dominator has a short barrel with a trapezoidal base. It also has a decorative trapezoidal barrel underneath, like the Mega Swarmer.
