The Laser is a Tier 4 tank upgrading from the Minigun at level 45. The main theme of the branch is tanks with low damage, extremely high fire rate and perfect accuracy.

Design

Laser looks pretty much identical to Minigun, with the addition of a thin red barrel layered over all of the Minigun barrels. This barrel is completely decorative and does not fire or recoil when the main weapon is being used.

Technical

The laser's projectiles, called lines, are much weaker than the Minigun's. They are also considerably longer than the Minigun's, as rather than circles like most bullets, they are thin rectangles about the width of the decorative red line on the tank itself. They are also fired extremely fast to make up for their poor stats. Laser lines tend to have low stats in most categories outside of reload, but they are somewhat fast.

Strategy

As the Laser

• It's very weak, with dps of minigun at best; it's best to avoid this tank or at the very least choose one of its superior branches.
• Aim like your life depends on it. It requires really good aim to succeed. The tank does so little damage even a "chip-damage" strategy will not work as most targets can quickly regen any damage recieved.
• Run away from AI spammers. There's no way you could outpen them and they will chase you until you die.
• Run away from rammers. You'll be lucky to even damage their shield before they kill you.
• Never use it in domination. It won't make a scratch against those and there are more useful tanks to engage in PvP combat with.

Against the Laser

• When fighting a Laser, put points in shield regen and capacity because Lasers need to chip away at shield before doing health damage. Bolstering your shield may make it powerful enough that Lasers literally cannot do lasting damage to you.
• Use Smashers. Lasers are basically free rammer food, but Lancers also work.
• Ram or mixed-glass Tri-Angle branches also work. Just make sure to put points in shield regen and capacity to basically nullify the Laser.
• Drone classes also work extremely well, as Lasers can do little to nothing to an oncoming cluster of drones.

Trivia

• Despite firing Laser lines, the Death Star and Flask do not branch from Laser.
